We were walking to another photo shoot site when I overheard Kevin say to his new bride "It was the best idea to come here. It's been perfect." Kevin was talking about getting married at Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa in Osoyoos, BC. He was talking about the resort, the abundant sunshine, the spectacular lakeview, the party pool, the guys golf game, the award-winning winery, the wine, more wine. Family, friends. Erin, her wedding dress. Everything . . . He was right.
When I did the engagement photos for Erin & Kevin, I was amazed at how natural they were in front of the camera. They made the wedding shoot even easier. Here are a few of my favourites.

Erin & Kevin Wedding Engagement Photography
Some people are just naturals when the camera gets turned towards them. Erin is definitely one of those people and her fiance Kevin complements her well, making them the most photogenic couple I have ever seen together. We spent a sleepy Sunday morning revisiting the Lost Lagoon site where he proposed to her for the second time... and it was like I wasn't even there. Thankfully the lens caught the moment.

Holli & Millree Get Married!
I was truly honoured to be the photographer for Holli & Millree's glamourous wedding last weekend. The event took place within an elegantly restored heritage building, previously a bank (yes, that is the vault door in the photo below) and now home to the Segal Graduate School of Business in dowtown Vancouver. Both Holli & Millree looked classic, confident and very much in love. Here is a sneak peak:

Ryan and Nikole in turquoise and red
Nothing better than a good ole fashioned family wedding. Throw in a little Branson Missouri, a BBQ or two, and some teeny tiny frogs and you have the makings of memories. There are some people in life you know will never reach their full potential of happiness until they find their true love to gush over. I am so deeply, truly happy for my cousin Ryan who has finally found his Nikole.

Wedding Bells were ringing
Eeek. I am so far behind on my posts that I thought I would start with one that is over a year old. Truth is, I was working on some wedding photos last week, which reminded me of my favourite wedding photos from Leanne and Rob's Mayne Island ceremony last May. And... since I haven't shared them yet, here you go.

Wedding Photography
Good friends Ashley and Dave - I'm so happy for them! I just love the way he looks at her...and love the way her veil falls down her back.
